waxy potatoes. scallions/ spring onions. garlic powder. garam masala. paprika powder. red chilli flakes. ground black pepper. salt. gram flour/ besan flour. water. Cooking oil for frying.
Boil, drain, cool down, and mash the potatoes.
Mix the spices and scallions into the mash.
Mix until all the ingredients thoroughly combined. Divide and shape into flatten discs.
Mix the gram flour with water until you get a smooth batter with heavy cream consistency.
Dip each the potato disc in the gram flour batter until it is fully coated.
Deep fry the potato cutlets.
