2 cups besan flour/ chickpea flour. 1 cup salted butter, melted. ½ cup milk powder. ½ tsp cardamom powder. ¾ cup sugar. ⅓ cup water. ⅓ cup chopped nuts
Roast the chickpea flour on a pan until golden beige and it releases delicious aroma.
Put the butter in the flour and let it melt and mix with the flour.
Then quickly stir in the milk powder until everything blends and mixed.
Next, add the chopped nuts. Stir well.
At the same time, cook the sugar, water and a few green cardamoms in a saucepan until sugar dissolves.
Leave the sugar boils until it reaches above 100º C/ 212º F but below 110ºC/ 230ºF. Or it makes one thread between your fingers.
When the sugar is ready, pour it into the flour mix and quickly stir until all is mixed.
Place the mixture in a baking tray lined with a baking paper. Spread with a spoon and scatter extra chopped nuts all over the top. Press again lightly with the back of a spoon.
