HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN TIKKA BIRYANI

A delicious combo of succulent spicy chicken and aromatic rice in well-blended spices. 

KEY INGREDIENTS

Boneless chicken - Ginger - Garlic - Ground cumin - Ground coriander - Turmeric powder - Paprika powder - Cayenne pepper powder - Ground black pepper - Salt - Yogurt - Lemon juice - Cooking oil - Brown onion - Bay leaves - Cinnamon stick - Green cardamom - Tinned tomatoes - Basmati rice - Potatoes

Mix all the chicken tikka masala ingredients  and marinate the chicken for at least half an hour

Put the chicken on skewers ready to grill.

Cook the skewered chicken in the grill or oven until they cooked through

While the chicken is cooking, get your potatoes ready and deep fry them

Then make the masala by frying all the spices

Add tinned tomatoes to the spices

Put the cooked chicken tikka and fried potatoes in the masala & continue cooking

While the masala is cooking, get your rice ready. Wash, rinse, and boil until al dente.

Layer the rice and chicken tikka masala in a large pot and sprinkle saffron water or food coloring water.

Cook the rice for about 12 minutes with the lid on until steam comes out. Then gently stir the rice.
