Jasmine rice, or long-grain rice. Coconut milk. Kaffir lime leaves. Salaam leaves. Lemongrass. Turmeric powder. Salt or according to taste. Lime juice.
Place the coconut milk, turmeric, and herbs in a cooking pan. Cook it until it boils.
Steam the rice until it is half cooked. Then add it in the coconut milk.
Boil the rice in the coconut milk until all liquid evaporates.
Transfer the rice to a steamer. And steam the rice until it is fully cooked.
