Zucchini Fries Air Fryer Recipe

These crispy zucchini fries, made in an air fryer, are tasty snacks you can easily make and have ready in a matter of minutes. They work well as a side dish, appetizer, or snack.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ dried Italian herbs
  • 3 tablespoons grated vegetarian parmesan cheese.

Instructions

  • Cut the zucchini into finger sticks. Try to cut them into similar sizes. Place them in a mixing bowl.
  • Add paprika powder.
  • Add cumin powder.
  • Put the salt in.
  • Sprinkle the mixed herbs in.
  • Toss them well until every zucchini stick is covered with oil and spices.
  • Add the grated cheese and mix well again.
  • Place them in the air fryer basket lined with greaseproof paper and air fry at 400°F/ 200°C for about 10 minutes or until the zucchini looks golden and crispy on the outside.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicy taste, you can swap paprika powder with Kashmiri chili powder.
  • You can use any mixed herbs you prefer, such as French herbs, and you can also swap them for a single herb of your choice. My favorite is basil, so I often make it with dried basil.
